Acts of Kindness are lifes shining Excessories

Just think how wonderful life would be if everyone practiced a little kindness one to another.  When you think if a time when you were treated rudely or with unkindness doesn't that make you realize it must start somewhere.  Why not "You".  Yes it does hurt when people treat you badly but a thing will never change until someone begins to care about someone else. What can I do today to make a difference.  Who can I do some little act of kindness for.  A family member, a friend, a neighbor.  I personally make it a matter of my own heart to do this as much as I can simply because it makes me feel so good inside and I love the feeling.

A way to start could be letting someone in front of you in a grocery line. maybe giving someone the money they lack in a store. Or how about just letting cars go ahead of you in line at your favorite lunch drive in when everyone is in such a hurry. A friend I know treated a hungry homeless lady to a great lunch.  Think about it less the "grace of God" there go you or I.

Doing unto others is becoming more and more noticeable.  I have experienced it myself when out and about.   Spreading a little love is so important Just like a popular song many of us may remember "what the world needs now is love sweet love"it's the only thing that there is much too little of.  Or the one by Debbie Boone "You light up my life" You give me hope to carry on.  Maybe you don't realize it but we carry Gods light with us wherever we go.  Prayer daily and in between times keeps your light shinning in your life and to others who may be going through a difficult time and need a little kindness and love.

Do something nice for someone today.  I believe this really will impact someone you care about. Ive even taken some earrings off and given them away. It does feel better to give than receive.  It doesn't happen every day and it sure does make a difference when someone else sees you care enough to sacrifice something to make them happy.

I think  Kindness and Accessories are a lot  "like life"   the extra little things you do to make a difference.  They can also make you shine along with what you are wearing to express your real personality, like On a rainy day wearing a "bright cheery outfit" is more fun than a drabby one.  As far a bobbles beads and splashes of color why not buy earnings or a bright scarf on sale.  But if something special or unusual is shouting "buy me" I can"t resist,  especially when I know it will go great with some special dress or jeans I love..

Here is something else  I have noticed since a small child.  It's the "little" things ladies "that mean a lot. I have always noticed a classy ankle bracelet adds a little special touch of femininity. When my friends were buying pierced earrings and bracelets.  I couldn't wait to buy my first ankle bracelet as a teenager.  To me it denoted a classy touch.  I am one of those people who like to look sharp even when in a casual look.  It just makes "me" feel good.  So remember the little things "do' mean a lot if it means something to you..
Now with these things in mind Go Enjoy Ladies!  Have Fun shopping for the little extra glitzy "gems" that make "you "sparkle and shine.  P.S don't forget be an angel and let someone know they are loved today.

Accessorizing  Tips

Belts and Buckles
You can change a look very simply by a new belt.  remember to keep the size of the belt to accommodate your shape and size. A thick belt on a petite will make her look shorter, just like a thin belt on a tall girl makes her appear taller.

Costume Jewelry
Each season jewelry changes so buy only inexpensive pieces you can interchange with different outfits more often.  You will also find yourself saving a lot of money to spend on your next seasons changes.

Shoes
keep in mind the shorter the dress the flatter the heel.  The longer the dress the higher the heel.
Hems also go up and down with each season so spending a lot of money on dresses or skirts with a drastic hem line make it expensive when the seasons styles change again. Currently the High heels are a big fad but sorry girls their too uncomfortable to stay in style very long.

Life's "Lemons" still make great tasting "Lemonade"

Some of the best things in life come from our mistakes in.  Did you ever really make a mistake somewhere in life and feel like it was the end of the world for you?  We "all" can honestly confess to that one.
I grew up in a family where mistakes weren't allowed so if I made one when I was a little girl I was accustomed to run away.  Later in life when I had my own children I always tried to lighten up on the scolding for this reason if something is done by accident "it's an accident" and just let it go.

My oldest daughter once decided to scribble on the wall and later blame it on her younger sister who was the baby.  I soon figured out that the baby's arms couldn't have reached as high as where the elaborate display of artwork ended up.
Soon after I decided to purchase some larger than life butcher paper for my children to paint and color on.  This gave them "all the room' they needed to be as creative as they wanted
Today my girls are all very "artsy" and all have careers in some form of the arts.  I am so grateful to the Lord for helping me with the insight to let them grow and not stunt the desire for them to draw and finger paint  and be creative when they were little.

Speaking of art and color. Today I went to do some window shopping just to see whats out there and I found a great  pair of "artsy and dramatic" black and ivory" jacquard designer  pants to go with my black suit jacket or vests as well as my basic neutrals from my color chart. Which is "cool" Blue based colors.  Today I wore them to church with my silver beige crepe blouse.  A great find that was only $16.00 and will mix and match with a lot of what I already have in my closet.  .
How about a Jazzy new pair of new "animal print"  pants that are really in style right now. Stepping out of the comfort zones and into more "color and pizazz" can really be challenging for some of us but give it a whirl!  Like the old expression "Try it you'll Like it" and you may really like the new you that you see..

Today give away your smile, and a nice compliment to someone out there will really needs it.  I love to express my feelings about clothes even though I may not choose what someone else is wearing if it looks good on "them" that's all that counts  they always come back with "Thank you so much" you have "made my day".
A Great Big "God Bless"
To all of you out there.  Your out there aren't you?

Getting back to lemons try these

* LEMON ASTRINGENT
Those of us with excessively oily skin may want to try a less drying  natural and inexpensive way  to remove oil from your skin.  Prepare your own by mixing lemon juice an water, according to the strength you prefer, use less if its too drying. ( and freezing it an ice cube tray .  When your feeling a need of a refresher, remove an ice cube and smooth it over your face.  This leaves your skin feeling smooth and slightly tingly as well as removing an excess oil.
Also good for hair rinse, hair lightener, tooth whitener, hand cleanser,as well as restoring skins acid mantle

* LEMON WATER
A  tablespoons or two of lemon in your drinking water with some ice really helps  keeps your body in more of an alkaline balance  (rather than soda's and diet drinks). Lemons are full of vitamin C  for healthy bones and cartilage and connective tissue. Just be sure to use the real thing.

Patricia Braund. " Ït's all about Me "

Hurry  up and go to the store for me
Ï    could hear my mothers " rushed tone"and knew it was   something needed for supper.  I tried to quickly fix my hair and fix my dress.  Go Go Go! I need milk right now.  The little grocery store was only at the end of our little country road but I always felt shy about giving the man in the store my mothers note with what we needed written on it.  The adults always had a way about looking right over the top of my head as if I weren't even there.  I ran to look into the little mirror  hanging right by our front door and tried to pull my hair away from my eyes and looked again to find that my clothes were a little wrinkled .  Mom came again to rush me out with her little note and off I went.
As I think back I must have been about 5 years old.

Saying all this you can see I began very early in life fussing with how I looked. These things were not instilled in me from my mother she was a pretty lady but didn't make much place in life for extra primping and beauty regimes.  But Ï did"! I spent much time coloring beautiful colors on the plain vanilla pages of coloring books filled with  of Cinderellas Ball room party dresses and filling in the lines of snow whites lovely blue dress with  the friendly dwarfs dancing around her.  I would save jewelry and collect them in cigar boxes. One day I would have many jewels and elegant party dresses.  With little scraps of fabric from my mothers mending I would create new and colorful dresses for my dolls and with my older sisters nail polish I would brighten up the lips of my washed out dolls faces making them bright and happy in their freshly made imaginary Ball gowns.

This is my little girl beginnings.  Colors, fancy fabrics, and pretty colored faces floating through her mind every day wishing and hoping she one day dress for the  Palace party and meet her prince charming.
My dream came true I did meet my Prince Charming.  His name is Douglas and he has bought me many lovely dresses and colorful pieces of jewelry and more important he is a wonderful and loving man and through Gods love gave us both three lovely little girls.  He is more than I ever could have dreamed for and so are my children.   God has answered so many of my little girl dreams which are really our heartfelt prayers.

I am still and forever His only little favorite girl.  Oh, I know He loves all that are part of His family  but He still makes "me" feel this "special and  precious" way.  Creating in me the the beauty and love for His Amazing world of colors, beauty, life and the people in it..
I's  breathtaking what I can see every day in the sky, water, trees, the mountains a newborn baby's eyes  it's pink rosy cheeks.  And the precious importance to help others to see that life is Gods gift to us to enjoy because he loves us so.

Do you desire to be beautiful within yourself  ( being happy and complete in who you are inside and out)  to feel confident and secure that your features hair, skin, and color is exactly what they are  to fit you and no one else. Yes, you are unique and beautiful just the way you were made.

Psalm 139
Oh Lord you have searched me and know me. You have laid your had upon me. such knowledge is too wonderful for me. Where can I go from your Spirit. Or where can I flee from your presence. For you have formed my inward parts in my mothers womb when I was made in secret. How precious are your thoughts of me.  If I were to count them they would be more in number than the sand of the sea.

Read all when you have time it is your "Beautiful Beginnings" and Gods "Adoration" for you "Now" and  " forevermore". So complete your Journey in this life and let Him show you "His" perfect will and destiny.  He has designed one just for you and is watching and encouraging you to become who you are to become day by day.  So keep going forward and also keep leaning and trusting in God.
