"Sick or "Healthy" is up to YOU!

Will I get Cancer, Heart Disease? or whatever else people are getting these days.  well my answer to you is a big  "No Thank you! "   No one wants to be sick if they can help it. Right?  Then why do so many people struggle when it comes to eating right.  One reason is that we live in a "fast food" world.
Fast is not better when it comes to good eating habits to stay happy and healthy.    

Many years ago I was given a health book by a women who was very well known  for being an expert on vitamins and minerals and learning how to eat right.  There weren't many books on the subject as there is today.  I remember the biggest thing I learned was to stay away from the three poisons "sugar,salt and flour" Which is still of vital importance today. I tried my best by giving my little girls alternatives to sugared deserts and treats but as soon as they entered the public school system they were introduced to all kinds of suckers, cookies,bags of candy.  All given as special treats and rewards for doing something well in school.

Frustrated and questioning why no one really care about nutrician.  Especially in the public school system where children are beginning to learn good habits and learning skills. Today there are many more concerned about this issue of healthy snacks but I still see far too many parents giving soda and candy to their children which is "officially" causing many known disturbances within the body's normal functioning process.

The bottom line on this subject of sugars is try your best to get you and your family off of it.  I's not good carry's no nutritional value, and will cause long term damage to so many children and adults as we are finding out more and more of late. 

I am grateful that my pediatric doctor informed me of vitamin c when my children were catching colds and infections all winter long.  This validated my personal researching. Once I started giving my little ones large doses of vitamin c they all stayed healthier all winter long. Even the baby who was 8 months old when I began using this wonderful vitamin to prevent viruses and colds and still do today.  Check with your Doctor and if you have a holistic one they will help you with prevention of sickness and disease..   Hopefully they can work together to help you stay healthy.   And we need all the help we can get!   So start reading and researching about a more healthier way of life.  It's never to late to begin.

Sun Block and Sun Tanning Lotion s.

A number of years ago I discovered dry red patches of my facial skin that would not go away.  after trying everything I saw my doctor.  He did have to remove over a dozen spots like this all over my face.  It was painful and very unatractive for at least two weeks.  But so thankful for the removal of somthing that could have turned into skin cancer.

Please wear your sun block.  50 or higher is the best protection when in the full sun.  Remember to re apply when in the water swimming or even if your in the shade but still sweating.  It does wear off.
Also wear a hat if your out in the sun for longer than 15-20 minutes in the hot sun. The scalp is also part of your skin.  Gently rubbing lotion into your scalp will help protect you from burning.  Again re apply often.  if in water do it after 20 minutes or so.

Also wearing sun screen under your makeup will coat your skin with protection even when inside your car driving.  The glare can also be dangerous when sun is coming in through the windshield.

Have a great summer and watch the three "poisons" Sugar , flour, and salt.  And, your not alone the world is becoming more and more conscious of eating right.  We who are in the U.S are starting to "get" with it.    Thank God for those who are the forerunners" in this kind of education.
